The Practice

Jocor Dental is a vibrant dental practice in Lephalale. The practice aims to provide the best in modern dentistry and Dr van der Linde is extremely excited to serve the Bushvelders. She has the ultimate goal of patient comfort and satisfaction and a general healthier oral future for all.

The Jocor Dental Team

Anita Louw

Anita moved to Lephalale in 2008 along with her family. Since then she met her husband, Jacques, and found a heartfelt love for the Bushveld and its people. She enjoys her position as a dental assistant immensely and takes great pleasure in being part of a team that makes a real difference in the lives of others. Orthodontics is her favourite field of dentistry and she aims to put patients at ease from the moment they take a seat in the dental chair. She believes in kindness, hard work and smiling often :-)

Sarie Nieuwhof

Our oral hygienist (originally from Vryburg in the North West Province) and her husband Arno moved to the Bushveld not too long ago. He is a minister at the local AP Church and their daughter, Mari-Corne, attends Hardekool Akademie. She worked for the Department of Health as an oral hygienist and dental assistant for more than 20 years and is therefore highly qualified and experienced. She was the go-to person for local school projects and she can provide oral hygiene to large groups at a time. She is furthermore qualified to place fissure sealants on children as an expedited, non-invasive procedure

Tamlynn Williams

This catch of the day is a former Polokwane girl who matriculated at PHS. She fell in love with the warmth of the people of Lephalale, and of course her love for fishing every weekend. She just loves spending all her time at the waters bonding with her grandfather and pulling in the big ones. She loves meeting new people and has an energetic, bubbly laugh that’s contagious.

Tsakane Chauke

Tsakane was raised in Pretoria and went to school in Johannesburg. Along with her husband (who works just across the road), they have two beautiful children. Her hobbies include reading and writing and making new friends. She is very hardworking and an energetic presence in the practice.

The Journey

Jocor Dental took over from the beloved Dr Machiel Geldenhuys, an old favourite in Lephalale. Many people adored him, and he is deeply instilled in their hearts. Dr van der Linde however had a new vision for the building and renovations (its proverbial renaissance) commenced in August 2018. Jocor Dental officially opened its doors on 1 October 2018. To show our development, here are some photographs to illustrate the transition of the practice.
