This catch of the day is a former Polokwane girl who matriculated at PHS. She fell in love with the warmth of the people of Lephalale, and of course her love for fishing every weekend. She just loves spending all her time at the waters bonding with her grandfather and pulling in the big ones. She loves meeting new people and has an energetic, bubbly laugh that’s contagious.

Sarie Nieuwhof

Meet our oral hygienist, originally from Vryburg in the North West Province. With over 20 years of experience, she's a seasoned professional in oral hygiene and dental assistance. Skilled in working with large groups, she's passionate about promoting oral health, especially among children. She's also certified to perform expedited, non-invasive fissure sealant procedures.

Natasha Opperman

Natasha is the dedicated receptionist and administrator who ensures every visitor feels genuinely welcome. She thrives on connecting with people, and she believes that a warm smile can make all the difference. She uses her organizational skills to support the company's daily operations and contribute to exciting advancements. Natasha graduated from High School Ellisras in 2001.

Tsakane Chauke

Tsakane was raised in Pretoria and went to school in Johannesburg. Along with her husband (who works just across the road), they have two beautiful children. Her hobbies include reading and writing and making new friends. She is very hardworking and an energetic presence in the practice.

The Journey

Jocor Dental took over from the beloved Dr Machiel Geldenhuys, an old favourite in Lephalale. Many people adored him, and he is deeply instilled in their hearts. Dr van der Linde however had a new vision for the building and renovations (its proverbial renaissance) commenced in August 2018. Jocor Dental officially opened its doors on 1 October 2018. To show our development, here are some photographs to illustrate the transition of the practice.

Expansion

Jocor Dental has recently expanded to include a second building, located just down the road at 11 Herman Street. This additional facility features three surgeries and an onsite dental laboratory. Our in-house lab enables us to manufacture dental retainers, mouth guards, bite plates, and orthodontic study models. We're excited to expand our services and continue providing excellent dental care to our community. Please note that our main building and administrative hub will continue to operate at 5 Herman Street.
